The Register® — Biting the hand that feeds IT

How green is your business, exactly?

Are you a tree-hugger or a Brazilian logger?

Reader poll Those among you who were concerned that El Reg might have slouched through what remains of 2007 without our Strategy Boutique for one last time throwing the IT barometer into the deep end of the knowledge pool and seeing if it floats, will be delighted to learn that we have something to brighten your pre-Xmas skive: the bumper "IT and the Environment" reader poll.

Regular participants know the score: just take a couple of minutes from scoffing mince pies and downing the boss's sherry to answer a few questions regarding your outfit's green credentials.

It's straightforward enough, with queries ranging from "How prominent is the environmental element in your overall IT strategy?" to "How many species has your company forced into extinction in the last 12 months?".

Oh alright then, we made that last one up. What is true, though, is that this poll is a real quickie, so you'll be back to pretending to work in no time. Enjoy. ®
